| Welcome to our site dedicated to
the English Bull Terrier, THE only breed to own. For us in the know,
their silly bully wild moments, hurtling round the house or garden;
not a care in the world about what's in the way or who gets knocked
over are some of the best reasons for owning one of these most
endearing animals.
We are a small family run kennels based near Retford. We are
striving to achieve the perfect English bull terrier to take
the show world by storm! ( aren't we all?)
We have a bitch called Barsons Showgirl who we have had since she
was 8 weeks old! Her name is Tibet and she is the mother to George,
who is fully health tested and available to stud. Then there are the
two bullies we rescued. We also now have a new addition to the
kennels, Sherrywells Star Flake at Praeclarus, Wynta! She is 8
months old and will begin her show career in September.
The first rescue is a bitch we called Lisa. She was found in the
middle of the road, cut and bleeding after being in numerous
dogfights. Tony stopped his car and called her to get in, which she
did most willingly!! Our vet, who was magnificent, operated on her
and saved her life basically. She has lost the sight in one eye, and
has scars over her, but she is so much better now. Fagan, the dog,
with black ears, was found with one week left in a rescue centre. We
paid the fee and took him home and my god he is such a wonderful
dog. So quiet and loving, yet the next minute, bully madness takes
him on thirty laps of the garden at top speed!!!!!!
